Always thinking ahead to another project, and although not quite ready to do the job yet, can anyone tell me the cheapest place around to buy gravel please?

Iribarren have several quarries supplying (amongst other things) gravel.

If you pay them a visit they are very helpful, as long as you want a lorry load or more.

The two nearest to you are at Montmorillon (on the right, on the road to Le Dorat), or outside Lussac le Eglises, on the Saint Martin Mault road. Both of these will deliver.........though if you don`t need a full load, it`ll be cheaper to take your own trailer.
Alternatively, Jean-Luc at Bricofer Lussac les Eglises can deliver smaller amounts in a tipper lorry, or Big Mat in bulk bags.
