Bark chippings

Hi
Any suggestions on where we can get a trailer load or two or three of bark chippings please? I know Gamm Vert will sell them in 20l bags but I am going to need a reasonable amount.

I'd visit a local sawmill or two. Most of them will strip the bark from the timber as part of the conversion process so will probably have huge piles of chippings...

Ah but it's only obvious if you know the answer! As a keen woodworker I tend to hang around sawmills quite a bit. I also know that a 10 minute planing session produces a bag of 100 litres of wood shavings
