Hi all, I can second the recommendation for The Hotel De France, as mentioned by Brain (sorry Brian ) We've stayed there quite a few times in the past when we were going back and forth when purchasing properties. Reasonably priced, clean and friendly.

My wife and I now own a property in Montmorillon but when we were searching we stayed at L'Arbre D'Ange  - https://www.larbredange.com - a lovely B&B with fantastically friendly and accommodating hosts. In fact, they were planning a wedding there last summer and would likely be able to advise in that regard as well if needed.
