I didn't think they paid anything for it, I thought it runs out of the taps.

I have an old 2.8 td Paj with over 200,000 K still going like a dream.

Put it this way, I worked here for five years and it never went up in price.

Then I came to France for four years, then last year worked in Iraq and am now back here... and... it's still the same price, so no increase at all in ten years.

Don't know about the price of that mucky stuff called diesel, it's not sold at the pumps I use - only petrol on them - no cars here use diesel !

Anyway, I splurge out and buy the expensive premium stuff at € 0.175 per litre --- sorry chaps
