Hi I'm Jen we found montmorillon a couple of years ago while camping and someone told us about the around montmorillon forum. I joined but never posted as we still live in the UK. but when I saw the announcement about the new forum I thought I would join and this time say hello.

I second what Steve said - regular writers are what keeps a forum like this going.

Sooooo, if you have any questions about Monty and the surrounding area, just post on the forum.

There are people here who can give you advice on the best hotels, camp sites. best bed and breakfast places, restaurants, gites and even where to get a car serviced.

Just ask. No one is going to laugh at you. We all started out from scratch and learned the hard way. I'm happy to share info I can.

And, NO, I'm not a Mod or hawking for buiness - just want to keep a new site alive and kicking.

Are you thinking of moving out here? Or is it hols only?

Sorry to disappoint but I'm not a prolific writer so don't expect to much. Thank you Admiral for sharing info and I'm sure it will stay alive and kicking with you around no we are not thinking of moving there at the moment but maybe another holiday in the area next year.
