Just found out and visited..a lot of things, worth a visit

i thought it might be of interest for those looking for something else than the gator / crocodiles place in Civaux or the Monkeys' valley  !

I did not know that Lussac was such an important place (at least during prehistory)  Big Grin

Thanks, Mike,
It's our very own mini-Lascaux Smile
I really must book in a visit as it sounds fascinating.

Mike

We visited a few years ago - who'd have thought a place of such controversy would be just up the road (see Google). We had a great tour of the caves (we were the only ones) and the lovely guide did her best to speak English even though she really wasn't required to do so. Also, I found a fossil on the cave roof - not previously seen by the guide!
We are yet to try Monkey Valley - something to look forward to!
