Fishing lakes/ponds near us

Hi everyone

Does anyone know of or can recommend any good fishing lakes/ponds where you can pay on the day?

My usual spot is Plaisance i have also used Persac and Lac Lussac but would love to hear from fellow anglers if there are any and i am sure there will be that i have missed nearby .

Did you try Chapelle Viviers lake ? trouts / carps , good spot, a lot of shade in summer time, large parking place , BBQ available locally  to grill your catches  ;  located close to the camping ground

Apparently, the lake at the camping ground in Moulismes opens for fishing on Easter Saturday.
