Blimey you TechnoTrousers don't half make life complicated. I can't cope with Interweb sites, especially French ones that don't appear to have any logic in their lay-out.

Instead, to make life easy and much more palatable, pour a glass of vin rouge, nibble a dry cracker and ring the English speaking service of France Telecom and tell them you want to go ex-directory.

They will tell you there is something like a two euro charge on your bill for this rather standard service but hey................

Oops sorry, nearly forgot. The number is 0969 36 39 00. But don't tell everyone. nono

I gave up with them bunch of idiots after they cut my line. When I called them they said someone had phoned and wanted to close the line, that person was not me! It took 3 days to get my line back. Wall

It was free on the internet so I saved €2 + cost of the phone call, so that means I get more Beer than you. Cool
