Car hire

Hi

Possibly interested in a van hire from Le Clerc ... but would want it to go to the UK to pick up furniture and DIY stuff. Hire is probably for 4-5 days. Does anyone know if they allow cross channel hire or can suggest alternatives please?

Yes they do allow their vehicules to go to the UK is the short answer - well up to the last time I hired in August of last year.

You'll need to sort out the kilometre thingy with them.  The best deal is car hire plus 1,200 kilometres a month for €250 but if you're only looking at about five days hire I don't what sort of deal they'll offer.

Sorry.  Silly of me.  The French don't offer "deals" they only give you what the rule book says.
