Post office to close...?

Disturbing rumours reach me here at ChezAdmiralis that La Poste in Lathus is to close.

Can this be true? And if it is, why?

The La Poste in Lathus provides an excellent service and it would be an outrage should it just disappear.

Any answers gratefully received. But not on a postcard. You won't be able to post it.

I thought they was talking about it going to the Mayor's office, but don't quote me on it.

I suppose the problem is it's just not used enough, I must admit we use the post lady and the Post Office in Montmorillon, you can also get the post lady to bring you cash from your Montmorillon post office account I think.

I can't see it going to the Mayor's office. Surely, there ain't the room. Unless they're going to get rid of the less than attractive Salle de Fetes.
