cheap carpet

Hello all.

I'm about to install an above ground wooden pool and would like put some cheap polypropylene carpet under it for insulation and comfort - a total of 25m2. So far I haven't been able to find any local suppliers. Furniture shops just seem to look offended in a French way when I eschew their recommendations of fine wools. I did explain that I wanted to put it under a swimming pool in one establishment and I received the distinct impression that I would not be admitted again. ..

So, does anyone have any recommendations?

When we was looking around for floor coverings the cheapest we noticed was in Bricomarché at Bellac, if I remember correctly the cheapest I saw was under €3 Sq Mt. They also deliver (for a reasonable fee) and have a good selection.

Find it around the middle of the store right at the back into another room, not sure how suitable it would be but it could be worth a look.

If you don't know Bellac it's easy to find right next to Carrefour North roundabout.

As Fred said, Bricomarché in Bellac have polypropylene carpet. It was €2.40 per m2 which made it a wise investment as an underlay for our tiny pool.

Good result Brian, you're welcome.

They have a good selection of floor coverings and the prices were about the best we found in the area.
