I think I'm going to have to make maybe half an hour each day to listen to them on the laptop.

Good luck I've never got passed disc three. Not because it's difficult, but because I got bored with it and fell asleep. Big Grin

I've been using Michel Thomas for a few months and have found them to be very good.  I know from past experience that I won't sit down and focus on learning for hours so I only listen when I'm in the car, it's little and often which I find relaxing and stops you from trying too hard which is part of the method of learning.  I have grasped much of the basics but have a long way to go yet however am now able to say more than I used to be able to which is great!  Would highly recommend and the beginners CD is only around £2 off eBay!  Definitely worth a try.  Bon Chance :-)
