from January 2019 Simer are introducing a "waste pass" which will be required to collect sacks and to be able make use of the dechetterie in Montmorillon. To obtain the pass it is necessary to create an account on their website and request one. They will start sending them out from mid December. remember without one you will not be able to obtain sacks or use the dechetterie

I'm not sure on that one, but to ensure you get the pass before January I would suggest you do it through their website.

I did it on the website. For a French website it was very straightforward. About a week later I received an email confirming that my card would be sent in December.

Hi.  We are Hoping to move into Bourg Archambault soon.  We are new to these things so could someone give me a link to the website so that we can get a pass please.

Yes, I think you can do it on the form too, although I opted to do online and have order my pass. Thought I'd save myself the cost of the stamp!

We sent ours off by post. I thought it might get a bit confusing if I do it online also. I’d either end up with two passes, or none. Plus with us still living in the UK, best not to complicate things, because they write to us here.
