I understand your frustration with Norauto but they are an off-shoot of the Auchan chain and therefore in the game for the maximum.

On a more positive note the one place in Monty that will fit tyres you've ordered yourself - and at a very reasonable rate - is Chouteau Pneus.

And before you ask.....go past Mr Bricolage, over the roundabout past Leader Price, past the college and as you get to the brow of the hill there voila! on your righthand side is Chouteau Pnues.

Really friendly and really great service. Got a puncture in Monty recently - nothing too dramatic. Took the old banger into them to ask for a rendevous and was told to wait fifteen minutes and they'd fix it. Which they did.

Almost instant service in France so unnerved me I had to go for a lie-down in a darkened room.

Yrs dazed and confused,

Admiral

Norauto that's it, I couldn't remember the name. No I'm not frustrated they gave me the best price, though I must admit I didn't try Chouteau Pneus as unlike you I have had two bad experiences with them.

#1 They tried telling me I needed a new wheel on an espace when it didn't.

#2 They told me I must have 4 matching tyres on my 4x4 at a ridiculous price when in fact you only need to have the front or back matching.

But then that's what we will find, and that is where a forum like this is good, different opinions from different experiences.

Maybe I should put my teeth in next time and smile. Big Grin
