I have stopped quivering with excitement and am about to lie down in a darkened room in a state of shock and awe.
That is a big job and not one I would even contemplate doing myself because;
I'am an old bloke (or so I tell everyone) and
My main exercise is typing nonsense on here and raising the arm in a Merlot-drinking-style.
Your French builder probably gave you a perfectly reasonable quote - for France at any rate. Have you tried Hebras in Montmorillon? Always found their quotes to be the middle of three and their work is excellent, quick and tidy.
