100% is given for long term illnesses and people of low income, so it's always worth asking if you can have it.  

Thanks Fred.  That's one of those "well, I didn't know that" facts.  I've often wondered how some of our friends here in France get 100% reimbursement for their healthcare.

Not moaning, but I can't even get on the bottom rung of the health system and get a Carte Vitale.

Having said that, thankfully neither myself nor Madame Admiral possess a long term illness between us.  A small blessing for which we are more than grateful given the "health" of some friends here and in the UK.
