Flooding

Hello Richard and welcome.
From talking to people who live in Montmorillon, I don't think that flooding is something that troubles the town. The river sometimes gets very high but the properties in general are designed to cope with that. Houses in the town centre have either long sloping gardens or solid masonry walls that extend above any likely flood level.
