Hello Catfish nice to meet you. 
Sorry but we are all asleep on Sundays. I think Leclerc supermarket is open Sunday morning and maybe a couple of the larger hotels and a bread shop, but like Steve said its a bit like a ghost town on a Sunday as is the whole area.
Also be careful on Mondays as some places don't open, and apart from Leclerc again don't expect to find anywhere open between noon - 2pm.
Regarding coming to live here part time, be careful it could end up Full Time if you like the peace and quiet of the countryside.
Good to hear you like the forum, it's the members that will make it successful so don't be a stranger. And don't hesitate to shout out, some of us have been here a while and you should get a good mix of advice.
