Not heard of him Clubby. We've just returned from La Trimouille last night and are awaiting our quote from a guy we've found, who is possibly going to be doing our house. He's going to remove the rendering and re point it. I have his contact details if anyone is interested. I've seen his work and he's pretty much booked up, so seems popular. Nice man too.

How did your project go? Can you recommend a roofer?

Hi, we did get someone to do our roof a few years back, but I'm sorry I don't have his number now. We recently had the house repointed and can recommend someone for that if you are interested. Not sure if anyone else on here knows any roofers.
