I've only been here since 2014 but last year was by far the wettest and coldest. Every other year, the rain stops and the grass stops growing in June and doesn't restart until mid-late September. This year the rain continued and I felt as if I was spending most of the summer on the mower!

I think we only had 'proper' summer weather (30C+ and clear blue skies) for about a week this year...

The area is famous for microclimates. I live near Adriers and we've had snow once in the 7 years we've been here. It snowed overnight and was gone by 11am! We do regularly have a week or two well below zero (-8, -10 ish) usually towards the end of February.
