Hi

We have a holiday home near Lathus and have not had a water bill for a while. On digging around, it appears SIGEP (our water providers) are no more and have been replaced by Siveer but we've had no correspondence. Huh

Anyone else come across an issue like this - not too sure about who should be billing us!!

It's probably a case of popping into Siveer when we're next over, but thought we'd ask around...

Thanks in advance!!

We had a letter to say it was changing, I can't find it now but by what I remember you don't have to do anything it was just a standard letter telling about the change.

But if you are coming over it may be worth popping into the Sigep office to ask, though I wouldn't worry about it as wev'e done nothing and I'm sure we will get a bill as usual.

Thanks Fred

Our bill was due in May and we haven't had one, so were a little concerned. Just too used to how they do things here in the UK I guess!

Once again, thanks. This forum is so helpful. Thumb

Good to hear it's useful.  Thumb

Just a thought, did you have your bill sent to your UK address? if so they may not have that in the system yet and it may be at your address here.

Oh and don't worry about it now anyway, its Holiday time and not much will get done now till September.

Scooby if it helps I've just checked and we haven't had a bill since October, and we live here full time so it must be something to do with the switch-over.

Just thought I would update this as we have just received our water bills, so you should be getting yours soon.

Thanks so much for letting us know Fred.   Smile

Just out of interest was the letter from SIVEER? It'll be interesting to see if it comes to our address here in the UK - they always used to so I assume it will be the same.

We're over in a couple of weeks anyway - that's if we can make it to Folkestone/Calais without too much trouble!!!

Thanks again

You're welcome, yes they were from Eaux de Vienne Siveer and it says our nearest office is still in Lathus.

Good luck with your journey.

We haven't had a water bill since early this year - from SIGEP as usual. We were expecting one from Each de Vienne about now but none has arrived.
However, the people we bought the house from 2 years ago emailed me yesterday to say they had received a water bill from SIVEER relating to our property. I think I'll have to steel myself for another visit.

Hi Fred and Bhouse

We have just received our water bill here in UK.  Thumb  I know that doesn't help your situation Bhouse but I thought I'd update you anyway.

Good luck when you go to sort it out.
