Hi. My partner and i moved to le Vigeant from Bedfordshire last June with three teenagers (18, 18 and 14), two dogs and a dozen cats.we came on a quest for a more sustainable life. It has been challenging so far as we don't really know anyone here but we can see light through the burocrasy. More importantly, spring is ever closer and it looks like the woodpile will surficeBig Grin. Glad to have found the forum.[/i]

Hello and welcome to Around Montmorillon. wave

Glad you found us too, we are still a small group at the moment but you will find a friendly bunch.

Hope you're finding the life here good, and yes it can be a bit unnerving at first especially with the paperwork. Wall But don't hesitate to shout out and ask questions or offer advice it's what the forum is all about.

So this will be your first Spring here ? Well get ready for some amazing sights when everything starts to get it's colour back. We have carpets of Cowslips that usually come first, but the other day we noticed the Wild Strawberries popping up.

Look forward to your posts on here, it's people like you that will help build it up to a great source of local information.

Regards.

Fred.

Thanks Fred.
Thanks for the warm welcome.
We have found living here to be just that, living. A few Worries ( it took six months to get internet) but all in all, how can you complain when you wake up to such beauty every day. Looking forward to spring and to becoming part of the community. Took my neighbours dog back today so making a startSmile
Kindest regards[/align]

Hiya and welcome to the forum.

Although you've been here a few months I'm sure there are many questions, conundrums and downright baffling aspects of life in France that people here can help you with.

Don't be afraid to ask. If I don't know the answer to your question someone else will.

Bonne chance.
