Noticed tyre on my 4x4 was looking a bit low the other day and pumped it up, unfortunately whilst in Montmorillon yesterday it had gone down again. So I headed up to Norauto and asked if the could have a look, I had used them last year to fit my tyres I purchased on-line and they were very helpful then. Car Tyres In France

No problem he said and took it straight in, and said it could be repaired for €26.90. Within 15 minutes he handed me the offending item (a piece of rusty old wire fence) and I was back on the road.

Another vote from me for Norautos service. Thumb

Edit: Since making this post Norauto have let me down big time and ruined my aircon. You can read more here: Car air conditioning Montmorillon or near by.

Excellent news.

These little snippets of info are what makes the forum tick. I didn't know you could just drive into Norauto with a sort-of-flat-tyre and get the thing fixed there and then. Thumb

I always assumed, with it being France, it would be "come back next Wednesday" or some such.

I must admit I was surprised, but the guy couldn't have been more helpful. (He also speaks English which can help when talking car trouble) Thumb

Like you, I thought it would be something like "You need an appointment" only to be told "You need two new tyres, but as we don't have the same ones you will need four" (yes newbies to France that can happen)

But no I got my puncture fixed and was back on the road in less than half an hour. Cool
