Forgot to mention the urgency of my request. Both toilet and sink are both caput. So as you can imagine it's causing an issue.  Doh

Eek! That sounds unpleasant.

Any Brico place will sell the hardware and fittings.
The ones closest to Montmorillon have a limited range, but I've found that Leroy Merlin (in Chasseneuil, just north of Poitiers, or Family Village, just north of Limoges) offer a much better choice.

Some loos have an anti-calcaire coating, which really does make a difference in keeping them looking fresh if your water is hard.

As for fitters, I can't offer any helpful suggestions, I'm afraid, as I replaced 3 loos and 4 basins here myself. I didn't have any previous experience but it's all common sense - and there are some excellent 'how to do it' videos on YouTube.

Good luck - I hope you get it sorted soon ...

Yes I agree with Brain, Leroy Merlin have a good choice.

As for a plumber no sorry I'm like Brian and have always done my own, it's not that difficult and I'm sure if you took some photos with you to Leroy Merlin of your old systems they would be happy to advise on the parts you need.

That's great!
Since basing myself in France I've discovered I can do all sorts of things that I couldn't when I was in the UK  Big Grin
