Certainly of interest for those looking into visiting the area is 'what's the weather like?'

Well I see that for the rest of the week it looks nice...

At the moment in the garden we have 38c clear sky with a slight breeze. Cool

I've just added a weather widget to the portal it should update each day and you can search for any city. You can see it in action here: https://aroundmontmorillon.com/portal.php

Yikes Steve......don't know how you live with those temperatures. It would drive me nuts - or nuttier than I already am - and cause severe damage to my somewhat "challenged bonce."

I assume you are living and working in air conditioned loveliness whilst downing buckets of old Jeddah Jollop or whatever it is you colonial types slosh back.

Pip pip,

Admiral

PS: The locals tell me to expect orages by Thursday. Might be good for the legumes....but there again.......

What ho Admiral

Well, we're really into the hot stuff nowadays. Today the mercury is certainly bubbling away with 50c showing on the car's external temperature gauge - a bit bloody hot especially as I had to go out and visit the French Embassy just after noon.

Scorchio is what Kenny Everett used to say.

You can keep your 'orages' though - when we get them out here because of all the dust and sand in the air it always comes down as MUD - really upsets the car washing guys !
