White Wine Vinegar

This probably isn't the answer you've been quivering with excitement for Fred, BUT...............I found white wine vinegar in Super U in Montmorillon today.

Second BUT.....it also has on the label "aromatise' noix."

Just trying to help.

Mmmm could be worth a try but I really want one without anything in it. The White Chardonnay vinegar by Maille is ok but I think Mrs Fred said it's a bit to expensive to use for pickling.

The annoying thing is I have read so many French recipes where they say add White Wine Vinegar. But then having said that I have also read where they say add Cream. Maybe they get it secretly shipped in from the UK cause I've never found what I would call Cream in France either.
